OpenShift Virtualization test lab

Kubernetes / OpenShift Test Plans

I created this site to document simple test scenarios I encountered while working on OpenShift Virtualization, in the hope that others may find them useful. It organises small, focused test cases around OpenShift/Kubernetes and OpenShift Virtualization (KubeVirt). Over time, it may be extended to other products or topics if that adds value.

This site documents how I took a fresh OCP 4.21 SNO (single NIC, two public IPs, LVM storage) from installation to a test-ready platform: prerequisites first, then test cases for VMs, networking, MetalLB, hosted control planes, backup, and ACM. Every item is searchable and exportable, so you can work through the plan on your own cluster, track progress in the browser, and export Markdown for offline use in the lab. The best way to start is to walk through the prerequisites. There you complete preparation work needed for the test cases. When you are done, browse the test cases and start testing:

Note: all commands and YAML are verified on the OCP 4.21 SNO described on this site. They may work on other Kubernetes or OpenShift deployments, but that has not been verified here.
